Sentence Pattern : Subject, Verb, Complement, Modifier
A Sentence is  the basis for intelligible communication in the English language . Sentence Pattern is sentences are made up  of at least two of these four basic parts : subject, verbs, complement, and modifier.
1.      Subject
Subject is about what or who is spoken in a sentence or clause
Example :
a. I explain how to drive a car
b. They listened to what I described

2.      Verb
verb is a sentence that shows a job
example :
a.    I learned to cook with mom
b.      I love swimming
Complement
3.      Complement is a word that completes the verb and to answer questions
Example :
a. Question: What worked yesterday by sani ?
               Answer: ani doing homework
b. Question : What is sani yesterday bought
     Answer : bike
4.      Modifier
Modifier indicate time , place , or manner of doing an activity
Example :
a.      He was driving a motorcycle very fast
Question : how fast he was driving a motorcycle
Answer : very fast
